So here are all my thoughts in a nut shell: the nose is identical. Not just the nostrils but the entire nose all the way up. I haven't seen a signature nose like that since John Lennon.
Eyes are the same. Look at the way the arches of the eyebrow slope down at the same angle.
Ears are the same.
The length in the back and the curls really seal it. The man was thinning rapidly and has lost more hair but I believe if he had styled it it would look less thin. Looks like he grew it out in front to do some comb over type work.
Neck thickness is identical.
Skin tone and wrinkles the same.
You can't compare the lips because the mug shot has thin lips and wait...you can't even see his lips in the grainy shots. Hmmm guess he didn't have full lips then.
Cheek bones look thinner now since he probably went on a drug binge after robbing a bank right. My cheek structure is night and day different when I lose 10- 15 lbs.
That's all I got for now. My concern is that there is no DNA proof from the crime scene.

The guys mugshot is from Florida and was taken about a week ago. I couldn't find side profiles for him online yet. I have turned mugshots in that were ten years old and some newer. You have to use some imagination when looking at some of these shots. The nose, ears and hairline are things I look at very closely. The images from that grainy video are all we have to work with. I just wanted to post the latest picture as an example of what I'm sending.
I think the detective has enough evidence to weed them out after we send the pictures in. You get unlimited guesses and you only have to be right once.
Eezbank you are a truly good man for doing this. I hope it hasn't hurt that this detective has already been sent mug shots that aren't him. Concerned that he might dismiss this as have others.

It is possible the guy became a crackhead, lost weight and lost more hair. Look at the jaws and the nose. I think the person of interest has a bigger nose. This won't change with losing weight. I think on the sketch I did, he should have bigger pouches too between the chin and the cheek. Also looks like this guy is older to me...more that 2 years older.
I also will point out that it looks like he was starting to grow out the exact same facial hair pattern as he had before.

I went to mikesurber.com that has a really small pic of him drinking that I think has better lighting that shows how thin his hair was back then.
I saved it then blew it up then took a pic of that on my iPhone. I think some of the other pics make his hair look thicker due to lighting.

I had mentioned how my facial structure changes dramatically when I change weight. Here is me back when I was popping comtrex non drowsy cold medicine for a few weeks which takes away your appetite.

The guy who murdered Mike has always looked familiar to me.Ever since those surveillance pictures hit Az,I thought,I know this dude from somewhere.I've been trying to figure it out for awhile.I think I might have been in Mobile when I seen him.Maybe David Trest can chime in here.
I think it can be the same guy. My neck looks twice as long in the thin pic I posted next to my regular weight pic doesn't it?

In your photos. From the bottom of the chin to a common spot at the base of the neck. Say just above or on top of the thymus. The distance appears the same. Not so in the other photos. The man in the mug shot looks like he has a longer neck.

My theory is the poi lost a lot of weight after a bank robbery/meth binge. Making everything look thinner including his neck which would look longer.
