Yeah I agree. He made a couple of questionable decisions down the stretch that I'm sure he would like to have back.
That's why he'll never be great.
I am kidding. Great tourney, and a great year for the boy. Losing sucks, but I hope he soon takes pleasure in his week's efforts. He done real good.
shot in the side, i can understand. Bank, though, you have to play safe. Even if you cant hide the cue ball, push it up on the 6.
Embarrassing shot selection. Archer wanted to strangle him! It wasent just the 4 ball bank shot. It's obvious his break carried him this far and he struggled breaking in this match. I'm shocked he won 8 games
what else was it?
Alright -- settle down. He actually played pretty well in this match. Liu just played better. He didn't make more than 4 or 5 mistakes in the whole match and I don't think those mistakes include more than a miss or two. He played just fine but like you said -- his break let him down.
Second guessing the berg is silly. His choices got him pretty damn deep an running out from everywhere is something he has done a lotta times.
Ya but as you know smart playing is sometimes what carrys you to win tough matches often the difference of being a state champion a world Champion or a US Open champion

I would agree. He took numerous similar high risk shots in earlier matches in the event that he made & fueled some of his earlier victories. I like the stones on this young man, he ain't scared.
