Justin Bergman vs Skyler Woodward. Who is the stronger all around player?

Bar table its close if justin had better break I'd say justin big table justin for sure

I think Bergman would crush him on a big table in everything but banks.

Justin is one of the top few one pocket players. He won the trophy at the Southern Classic one pocket in 2012, in a field equal in toughness toDerby City. He'd beat up on Sky,.

Nine ball isn't even close, either. In the three toughest events in rotation pool on American soil in 2014, the Derby City 9-ball, the Hard Times Classic in February and the US Open, Bergman cam 13th, 1st and 13th. Skyler didn't cash in any of them.

Sky would crush Justin in any long match at bank pool.

In 14.1, Bergman came 17th in the World 14.1, including a win over John Schmidt.

On a bar table, Sky has a much better shot.

Give Sky a couple of years and you never know, but Sky isn't even cashing yet inAmerica's most prestigious events.

Of course, Derby City, the very best measure of a player's all-around skills is just thee months away, so Sky will have his chance to show It if he's a truly elite all-around player.

Ican wait three months for a definitive answer!

the answer to the question is bergman is the better all round player. He finished 12th world straight pool has did well in one pocket events and bigger tablke evets like chuck markulis I give sky the edge on bar table

I like Justin on the big table in every game, with bank being Sky's best chance. To also be fair to Sky, that video was in 2012 and he has improved the 7 since then. On the bar box, I still like Justin.

I think that Skyler was 19 when he played Bergman in Cape (at that big muddy free roll event). I am pretty sure that is what a friend of his said when commentating on the match. Everyone that I have talked to (about Skyler) seems to think that Skyler is so much younger then he actually is. I am guessing that he is around 22 or 23 now. Just a guess.

4 years ago sky was like 16

My view on this:

As evidenced by his recent performances, Skyler has the intanglibles required to be more than a regional champion.

Justin Bergman, does, as well.. But if I am not mistaken, he has been playing longer than Skyler?

Something tells me that if a player rises quickly in the way that Skyler has, then the "sky" is the limit. Someone like Bergman who has been improving over 6-7 years? Generally, they plateau. It is VERY hard for a player to improve a couple of balls once they've been playing for a number of years. MUCH easier for a young, fairly new player to make massive jumps in their game in a short time period.

I predict Skyler will get even better in the next two years.. Bergman will play about the same. He might even fall off half a ball.

Short Bus Russ

Skylar has the most potential of anyone playing pool to become the next phenom. It's crazy to see how he's progressed in just a few years. I hope he stays active so we can all see how he progresses.
