No, Im not selling this. Just didn't find a category that suits my question:

How much would you spend on this Prolite 2x4 Justis Case, in used condition?

Got an offer to buy it for ~850$ which seems quite a lot to me. What do you think?

@mystery shooter: yeah, thats why i'd like to buy it. 600 is more what i imagined itd cost..

@maik: trying to produce those chalk cases myself now, just need more time for that...

Ah, okay. Sorry for my choice of words.

What I meant was that I was offered the case of course..

Maybe I'm out of line here, but its easy to say someone's stuff is worth X or Y. Or, if it was mine I wouldn't take less than ? Neither of these necessary reflect current market value (what another person is willing to pay for it). Sorry for the rant. If you really want to know what the market value is ask what would someone pay for the product.

If you want a Justis case look at his website and see what a new one is selling for. At SBE Jack had some nice cases around $600 and that was not because of any special pricing or show discount. I asked Jack if he had a fire sale at the end and he said no because there is a buyer that buys whatever he had left.

$850 seems to be too much if you are buying. If you have a buyer for $850 jump on it.

That case is not worth $850 new or used. If you look at the case it does not have extra tooling or scrolling work.
Jack will build this same case for less than $850 IMO. Jack had cases at the BCA that spot that case the 7 ball for less money.
 
IMHO for 650 or less it's a good deal. I don'tknow what Jack would ask for this same case, e-mail him.

But that is negotiation, offer him what you want to pay and go from there.
