Kamui black medium.

Tried one on a Dominator Shaft and had to go back to a SuperPro, my Favorite !!!

I know other local players who swear by them, so they probably are as good as
anything out there (for some players).

I have 2 of these on the way to me right now. Hopefully, I have better luck with the Medium than you did. I almost got a soft and a medium. Guess time will tell.

Got a Black SS on one of my shafts right now. Dont like it, its too mushy. Feels like playing with an Elkmaster. Im going to cut it off and try out the Soft next. I have played with le pros my whole life but lately it seems like the quality of the tips is so inconsistent, its a crapshoot and whether I will get a good tip or not. I need to get something consistent so I can forget about tips and get back to the business of trying to run out.

how much time have you given it to break in? have you tried shaving off a few layers?

I have a Kamui Black Medium on my cue and I overall like it... but I'm not entirely happy with it. I have a black soft on another shaft, and I like that one a bit better. It feels kind of mushy to me, I think I'm going to switch to a black hard after this medium is through.

I use mostly Kamul Black super soft and soft tips and find them to hold the chalk very well. Especially compared to Moori II mediums. They can be *soft* hitting but my choice of solid tip is Elkmaster so I'm ok with it.

I don't think they play as good fresh off the lathe and tall. I find mine to play much better after the tip has hit multiple racks of ball and taken down to about 1/2 length. I've not had any that mushroomed, but that's not surprising as 12 yr girl has a bigger stroke than me.

I tried Kamui black and found they gloss up pretty quickly. I have been playing with a Kamui brown medium and find they hold chalk better and are not as hard as the black.

A lot of miscues can be blamed on an imperfect stroke.
I once had a tip fall off and I kept playing for over an hour and never miscued.
And of course I have a perfect stroke.:rotflmao:

I doubt very much that it is possible to miscue under any circumstances with a Lucasi. So your opinion can not be counted

By the way I played several hours today without any miscues. But then I also brought my two favorite cues just to spoil myself after the frustration of yesterday.

Kamui black soft....so good I couldn't concentrate on making the ball. I keep on thinking how good it feels to my hand. I couldn't chalk as much because I'm afraid it might consume the tip faster and I don't want to change it.:o

You let out the great secret only we Lucasi owners know.
