I put it on two different cues with the same result. My old Break cue and BK Rush.Got it on my break cue as well - liked how I can control my break better than the original phenolic tip. Hardness? as Zerksies mentioned, almost similar to the phenolic, but with more control. Worth trying, I think![]()
I've never miscued using my Samsara break tip (I've had 2 over 4 years) after chalking it well with Masters chalk. Not sure why Kamui does not release a hardness rating on the SAI break tip, but Samsara tips usually test around 96 hardness and are layered. I tried the Rhino carbon fiber break shaft with their layered break tip and did not like it, as it was hard but did not have that Samsara "pop". Not a fan of phonlic break tips either...I installed one on my Becue break cue, it came with the Samsara, I miscued with that tip a lot which I will take the blame for and the tip popped off which the tip is blamed for so maybe just a tip that doesn't work for me, had the Kamui control break tip installed, not as hard as phenolic or the Samsara but breaks well and like it says a controlled break, since I have been using the new tip I have been able to add some more power to the break without worrying about miscues
