Well im sure alot of u like the chalk , but my impression was it slows down chalk time and it is so thick that it leaves chalk on cue ball and it must be cleaned during play and here in Texas humidity is high so it kinda gums up on hand , maybe if it was 5 bux id buy a box but sorry kamui .....

I own a room in Washington, State near Tacoma. I have seen the same thing, as far as, the Cue Ball is concerned. Now we don't have much humidity here, if any so I am not sure that is the problem. But, when someone is using on a table it really makes a mess and gets all over your hands. My table are cleaned ( Brushed and Vacuumed ) Daily if not more and I first I thought that a certain player was just making a mess, but it turns out it was the Chalk he was using. I have not seen such a mess from Masters or Triangle using you have people just make a mess, but for some reason the Kamui Chalk seems get all over everything.

I guess this stuff needs a little more research. Brace yourselves for a $50 chalk folks!

Manwon ure correct , i do think its humidity, and as far as stating $5 well that means i wouldve of bought it and given more of a chance to it , im sure some of u got that ....

Are you suggesting more time with it equals a less dirty ball?
Are you hiring someone with the difference in money to clean the ball for you?

The two statements are incongruous. All the latter statement does is attempt to discredit the former statement.

Craig,

Right you are, J. Price gave me a cube of the stuff. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and have noticed that the cue ball will have blue spots on it and the table has blue streaks. What I really don't like is the fact that my wrap now has a blue hue to it. You got a good supply of Cortland in case I decide to have my cue rewrapped? My cue is 18 years old and the wrap has been cleaned a few times and cannot take much more!

When the price point of this Chalk become like blue Diamond I will switch, as it works great. But is messy like LIP GLOSS! JMHO.

You guys are right.... the cue ball gets some smudges on it. But.... after thoroughly cleaning my balls, ball return, and cloth; everything stays much much cleaner. Wiping down a cue ball every now and then over maintaining gritty balls from rolling on gritty cloth sure seems like a win to me.

This thread is hilarious.

It's nit central.

"if it was cheaper I would use it".

I just played 4 races to 5 and 2 games of one pocket and chalked 4 times the entire session. It was great! Cue ball was fine, hands are clean, cue is clean, cloth is perfect. Miss cues, zero.

If you guys can't quit raping the chalk, don't use Kamui. Get the cheapest crap you can find and rape away. You don't want to threaten the livelihood of the vacuum, cloth and wrap installers.

After 4 races to five and 2 games of one pocket, how many times would you
normally have mis cued using ordinary chalk?

Who knows.

What I do know is......If anyone tries to take my Kamui chalk, you will have to pry it from my dead cold fingers! (cause you ain't getting it)
