Kamui tip advice

Remember it takes a member of the Kamui Commission to replace your tip.

I just had a black super soft installed on mine. It plays nice and has held it's shape just as well if not better than the Everest that I had previously used.

I had a lepro tip and went to a kamui med black. They hit about the same hardness imo. I'd probably go with a soft unless you like a hard hit.

I have a Z2 with an everest and a 314-2 with a kamui super soft. No comparison in hit; the kamui black super soft is great. You know you're hitting with something one level above when you hit with it. Now have to put one on the Z2. by the way have a kamui black med on my other stick. To me the super soft has more feeling to hit. The med is a little hard...

All depends on what kind of hit you prefer.

For me I prefer a hard hitting tip, but not one that feels like a break tip and one I could get the required spin. I use a Kamui Medium Tan and have done since they first came out. I have tried a Kamui Black Super Soft that I didnt like as it felt 'spongey' to me.

If you move the CB around with a lot of spin, then the Black range is recommended, opposite applies for the Tan range

I use a 314-2 with a new black soft tip,so far my favorite!
I've used the old brown med soft,everest,lepro,moori med...
As far as kamui holding it's shape I don't use it to break with,I use a Bk2 with a samsara tip.

I've played with them all.....

If you like the Everest then i'd say Kamui Brown Soft. After it breaks in should be about the same. The medium will be a little harder, and the hard will be a lot harder.

If you like the Everest and want to try the black then try a medium. The hard will be a little harder then the everest. Soft will be a bit softer and super soft will be yet even more softer.

Kamui brown medium is what i play with. Love it. i try the black, too soft for me.

Make sure that the tip is made of leather. And don't pay over $5 for it, as that would be insane.
