Seriously - since leather is sort of a fire retardant material, do you think it'd have a better shot at domination over that of the almighty OB1 shaft?

What about a Kamui on an OB1 shaft???

discuss....
 
Godzilla all day and twice on Saturday. No contest.
I don't care what they put on those things, they would never sustain the fire from the mighty monster.

I think Fast Larry can give the Kamui, the OB-1 and Godzilla the 7-ball any day. But he might need weight from Quinten Hann.

Nahh, I heard that Hann guy can't make 3 fookin balls in a row :D
 
I tried one recently, but think I got a defective one, a couple layers from the bottom, was like elastic, and made the tip spongey... I tried to play with it but, I just didnt like it because of that flexalayer... since then, I have switched to Sterling 14mm layered tips and will not use anything else, these tips play as well or better than morri, and Kamaui or anyother layered tip I have tried, Sniper is close but the Sterling are a little harder, Hold chalk and dont mushroom...

Ive went through box after box installing these and not one single person has ever complained, in fact Im getting more cues for tips that I can keep up with...

(I do minor cue repair, tips and ferrules mostly, nothing major)

Id rate this tip Med Hard they are very coinsistant from tip to tip, I tried these because I have had previous success with thier non laminated tips, and they are great as well..

Maybe i'm overthinking this but, if I'm going up against a fire breathing monster, I'm not going to be using anything thats put together with glue (that'll melt) Talk about delam issues! It's gonna have to be a triangle or a milk dud... IMHO of course!

If you're using a milkdud tip and you add the element of fire - couldn't the tip theoretically curdle? :confused:

...Lord knows I've tried to get over the Godzilla/Mothra thing and then when I was just about over it, Godzilla pulled that crap with Rodan. That's when I started believing that Godzilla might BE Rosie's alter ego. Neither one of them can get along with anyone!
