How's everyone doing. As some of you can see, I am working on progressing in becoming a better shooter. I don't really know much people around, and was wondering if there are any AZ members around Kansas City. If so, would you be willing to help me and give me pointers or have a sparring partner or etc. If so, let me know, always good to meet new people and always looking to meet good people as well. I don't have the skills to play in tournaments or anything, but just looking to meet some new people around the KC area that have the same hobby. Thanks for reading everyone.

A quick way to improve is to go to Shooters in Olathe and set up some lessons with Dave Matlock. Dave is a legend as well as one of the nicest guys in the game.

I have heard about Dave from Art's Billiard, not very expensive lessons, I'll definately give that a try and keep you all posted on how that goes. Main while, anyone here around KC?

Bumpin the thread.

My brother was down at Ray Rec earlier today and said someone came up to him to ask him if he was the one who posted about wanting to find someone to shoot with. Is it someone on here that asked him? If so let me know, you guys have mistaken my brother for me. My brother shoots with a Viking G01 that has a smoke color butt on it, almost black in color.

If you dont mind traveling a little north to St Joe,the chalk and cue has a nice little ten dollar entry fee 8 ball tour, on fridays.I wouldnt mind playing
a fellow azer.Let me Know. (WARNING THE TABLES UP HERE HAVE A MIND

I am not sure, my brother was so confused, because he doesn't know I posted something on the forum, so he didn't even ask for the guys name haha.

I think I saw your brother on gold crown, You can get played at Raytown. also Danny Harriman comes in on Mons. and is a good instructor. give me a P.M......LES

I play and help out witha couple cheap tournaments up North of K.C. They are alot of fun and most everyone has a chance to get a little back. I am an APA 5 and get in the money every once in awhile. Even gotten to split a few times. There are a few really good players, but sometimes they end up taking each other out. There are a few other tournaments up here that are a little more difficult. Everything is in the Gladstone area and close. LMK if you want any more info.
 
Thanks for the tip. I saw Danny Harriman at the pool hall the other day. That guy can shoot some pool :eek:
