I dont know Chris however he will be in our prayers here for sure. My wife and I are dealing with a cancer scare here currently she has 3 black spots in here abdomin on the ultrasound that we went to yesterday she has been bleeding for 2 weeks + now and we are very afraid all of her symptoms are pointing towards ovarian cancer and every woman in her family has had cancer before the age of 25 she is 27. So our thoughts and prayers go out to any and all that can be dealing with hardships right now. Gets pretty hard when it finally hits home.

Yes, Chris is one of the best. He, Heide and Spike are so loved in the pool playing community. Chris is one of the kindest, generous and gracious people in our sport. Bob has been friends with him for over 20 years and it saddens us beyond belief that it is happening to him again. This is a real blow to all of us.

Please say a special prayer for Spike, he's a great kid and shows tremendous potential in the sport. Spike won our 14 and under Junior event at The Midwest Open, he made his parents real proud. He is only 12 and needs our support during this time.

Our love to the Cass Family. They are in our hearts and in our prayers.

Bob and Eydie

They are in my thoughts and prayers. I know from experience that it is a hard place to be at and extrememly hard on the family. The ways to fight it have increased dramatically in the last couple of yrs and hopefully one of them will be of help.

Chris is in our prayers too because we know how it feels, to a degree. My wife is very lucky that she was able to get treatment when she did. The thought of losing her was unbearable and not knowing what to do and having no control over the situation leaves you feeling helpless. The family we have here in this forum with our prayers will pull Chris through, no doubt about it. Peace, John.

Thanks for the photo Hemi, I now realize that I do know Chris. I met him at the U.S. Open, we talked for a little while after we met at the hotel computer. He went out of his way to try to show me how to use the wei table. Didn't work though, I'm brain dead. Anyway, Chris is a very nice guy and I'm glad I had the pleasure to meet him. I watched one of his matches, it went hill-hill, and he lost. I believe it was on the 1 loss side and I was hoping he would pull through because he did have his chances to put the guy away. Scott Smith came over and put them both on a shot clock for some reason, I don't know who was to blame because I didn't show up until it was late in the match. Again, thanks for the photo Hemi. Peace, John.
