keeping pool balls clean

There are several electric ball cleaners on the market (goggle it) and JoeW has devised a mechanical model that he sells... it appears to be the most economical. The best? Who knows?
 
I use a cleaner called Basic H*. I put about a tablespoon in the bathroom sink, fill it with water, place the balls in it and leave it for about 15 minutes. I return, use a brush to swish the balls around going from the one through the fifteen with a little extra attention to the cue ball. I then rinse and dry the balls.

It works better that anything else I've found and cost very little. It might not be the thing for a commercial room but for my home room it's perfect. I get many compliments on my balls. Hey Jeff, you've got clean balls! Thanks, I say.

My balls are shiny!

I use pledge with a dry cotton towel for day-to-day cleaning. However, I don't recommend doing this to the cueball. A couple a times a year I will break out the Aramith ball polish with a clean towel and they stay like new.
