For no particular reason I've never really been a big fan of Kelly. It's obvious she plays good. But I just wanted to shed light on how courteous and professional she is. After a win she's gracious but after a loss even more so. Makes me respect her more.

Yes, Kelly is a credit to our game and has been an enduring superstar. Her humility and class shone though during her hall of fame induction speech last November. Her story and career are an inspiration to all who play pool professionally and she is a good role model for those to come.

It's also fairly remarkable that she ever found the pool scene. The women's snooker tour, on which she competed, folded in 2003, and that's when Kelly decided to follow in the footsteps of Allison Fisher and Karen Corr, coming to the United States and learning the game of pool after she got here.

Kelly is the most sincere, genuine, nice, humble person you could ever know.
Her circle of friends and family are just as nice.
