I love everything you do as an MC of pool. I really also like the things you have to say regarding every rack/position play/player tidbits, etc. The problem is your MONOTONE VOICE is terrible. You have literally made me fall asleep watching USBTC and TAR matches. All you have to do to be GREAT at commentating is change up the tone of your voice from time to time like news reporters do. Try inserting a little humor as well.

Best Wishes

beats having to listen to Jim Wych!

I think he does a great job. I like his *monotone* voice, I don't have to worry about adjusting the volume over and over!

Thanks for a job well done Ken :)

Kens awsome

Jimmy wech. Snooze fest indeed. Just like anything we all have. Different tastes.

I've spent some time doing a little commentary with Ken at the USBTC. In my opinion, Ken is knowledgeable, friendly, and can definitely be good for a few laughs. He lives for pool, I'm glad he's a part of our little world.

Ken is great. One thing I'm noticing with the USBTC is that I'm enjoying the women's matches. Guys like SVB get perfect about every time, but the women are making position errors a lot more (just like I do!), and it's educational listening to Ken talk about how to get out of the situation.

Someone mentioned Jim Wych. Jim is ok, but I've seen him teamed up with some British guy that constantly yells stuff like "Yes! With that ball he wins the first game! It's always important when you are a champion to win the first game! It's a blunder not to win the first game!!!"

BTW, the best commentary is when two commentators are in the booth. For Turning Stone that ended up being just as good as any podcast, with tons of behind the scenes facts about the players, road stories, different points of view on position, etc. Easy-E, you have been great when joining the booth.

I am currently watching the US Bar table championships and enjoy Ken's knowledgeable and interesting commentary. While I do prefer two commentators with a little bit of interplay and some road stories I find that this has been very good. I would prefer he lose the trivia though.

Ken's cottonmouth use to bug me , now i like to hear because he lets you know how things got to this point and a working knowledge of position . Doesn't get off on tangents on things unrelated to whats going on . Nice even voice .

Ken is a great commentator. If I had to nit pick I would have only two minor complaints. One would be his cotton mouth and the second is that he sometimes eats while on the mic.

But overall, he gets a "A" in my book!!!
