Kent's got bling

Cool..... How is the hit?

It hits very well. It's the best Ebony handled cue I have played with. It has a different core material in the handle, which actually makes for better feedback in the handle. Other Ebony handles I have owned(maple cored) are very firm feeling in the handle area.

Glad to hear you like it, I've never had a KD cue in my hands but often wondered, having seen some of his cues on-line, how they hit. They all sure look well made and have nice designs. Yours has some of the sharpest points I think I've seen. Good luck shooting with it.

Yes Kent has really nice point work, he has a tester cue with a laminated forearm made of many different woods. It looks kind of funky but he made it that way to show people the different woods he can use. If you want I can get you in contact with him so you can try it out.

Thanks Zirroe, If I were in the market for another cue, I would take you up on the offer, but, with my bad luck, the cue would probably get lost in the shipping process.

Any interest in trades? Here's what I have.............

Kent Davis

I also got to see your cue this weekend and it's stunning. The miter work in the boxes is perfect, the burl is awesome, and the all the silver inlays really make the cue stand out. Plus, Kent is a super nice guy.

On a very sad note, his tester cue (the Frankenstein cue) was stolen Fri nite from the free play area. Gotta get him to post up some pics as there is no other cue that looks like this. If it surfaces on the cue market it is VERY EASY to pic out.

Anyway, have fun with your new cue. It's a stunner!

Wow that is messed up. I talked to him and he never mentioned that the tester cue was stolen.
