Kevin Carson Cue

Shorty,

Sorry to hear. Check this link out and hopefully it helps somewhat. Appears he doesn't care much about being contacted because there is no phone number. Looks like you're not the only one.

Just found he has two email addresses as well.
kevin_c_44718@yahoo.com
And
CarsonCues@aol.com

Hey thanks Koop...I tried another email, that Yahoo one was new to me! I sent it to both...now we wait and see if I get any response...cue has been back in his hands since like May 17th.

No problem bud. Another thing you could try is doing a reverse lookup on whitepages.com using the phone number you have.
There is a K Carson in Canton but only you would know if it's him by the phone number listed.

Best of luck.

Calls do no good anyway...he wouldn't answer my last three phone calls.

I need Moose and Rocco to go visit him.

I got Rocco but you need to find your own Moose ;)

My 2 cents . . .

I also bought a cue from Kevin about the same time as Shorty. It was the same price range and mine also had a problem. One of the points is spaced incorrectly - the indexing must have been off when the point was cut. The cue hit decent so I decided to keep it. NOW, I'm glad I didn't try to trade it back or I would probably be in the same boat.

I tried calling the phone number Chad had and it has been disconnected. Flown the coop, I assume. :(

Anyone want to buy a "unique", "custom-made" cue??? I'm taking offers. :D

Just to bump this thread to the top...

He has a new phone number...I called it, 330 432 3735, and left him a messege to call me on my cell. It seems that this is not even his phone number, some guy named Dennis or Denny. Another AZ member helped me track down this number and he actually got to speak with him! Amazing...everyone can talk to this guy but me? Geez!

And thanks ScottR...I think you helped me out a little bit regardless. I am offering the cue up to trade to a nice gentleman as we speak.

And by the way Kevin, I don't go away easily...even for a midget!

You are welcome. Do you think "Kevin" might have mentioned that the cue he sold to me had points that were off by about 1/8". I'm not talking the tips of the points, the friggin' base of the points at the wrap. That's a new one on me. Drivermaker - no comments from you about "garage-based CUSTOM cue makers...... .

Two points were spaced 3/16", one was 5/16" and the other was . . . . . . oh, I don't know . . . . . about a half a freakin' inch.

~off my soapbox now~

Go get 'em Shorty . . . . :D

I am not trying to bad mouth Kevin or his cue really...I just wanted to know if it was unreasonable to think of returning the cue and expecting a refund.

Thanks,
Shorty

What would you call it then? Wrap up the cue and return it, this is no one business other then between you and him and should not be disscussed here at all.

Bull..... His post will save the rest of us from going
through what he went through.

You are ready to accept the story on face value and I bet repeat it without any more information then that provided by a disgruntled customer who may even be exaggerating.[/QUOTE]

Wow! You must think you really know me. BTW, Shorty has been
on here for some time and seems like a straight shooter.

Am I missing something here? In an earlier post you stated that you sent the cue back and was waiting for your refund but now you are saying that you think you have a buyer for it. What's up???

In Shorty's defense

I called this guy Carson and inquired if he has any cues for sale. He told me he was out of the cue making business!!

I then asked if it was true that a man from Florida had sent back a cue and he owed him money for the return. He stated that he did but didn't have any money, and he had resold the cue.

He also gave me a new phone # for Shorty to call him. That # may be a phoney # as it goes to someone else.

ScottR on this board also purchased a Carson cue, that he was unhappy with. As a gesture of goodwill he sent Shorty that cue in a case that Shorty purchased from him. This was done in an attempt for Shorty to recoup some of his lost monies.

2 stand up guys that got screwed, working together to recover some $$$, and 2 seperate cues.

Everyone on this board needs to call this Carson guy and bust his chops to recover Shorty's money. the correct # is posted in Shorty's earlier post.

You have the stories straight, Joe. Thanks for spelling it out.

Short man and tall man, working together. . . . . kinda brings a tear to your eye, don't it? lol :p :D
