KF cue ?!?

GYK is use SW, I think.....
KF too expensive, if u want me spend bet 150-800, I would get a average custom cue on AZ!!

As far as I no, only Singapore have TW pro-coach, In china, there r too many...........

I think the Taiwanese legendary pool coach is currently coaching in Singapore. His name is Chen Wei-Zhi or something. If you have the language capabilities to order a used custom cue on AZ, then I think thats the best way to go.

Lots of pool in Bangkok and Pattaya. Otherwise, not much pool around. I am in Chiang Mai and only pool room here closed in January. Lots of snooker rooms and pool on converted small snooker tables in bars.

I see. So China has a much bigger pool scene right? I've heard that the prices are pretty expensive there though. In Taiwan, it is not difficult to find a room for 2-3 bucks an hour playing on perfect conditions. Here in America, it is pretty difficult to find a properly maintained pool room. Cost of maintenance and labor is too high here.

Last year GYK was sponsored by KF and played with KF cue. Don't know about now.

Pool rooms everywhere in China and busy. Not cheap though for good room. $5-6/hour

I play with a KF ( Kaofa) cue and have for several years. I like it and have had no problems with warpage or any other defects. Prices when I go mine ranged from about $150 to $800. Not sure about now.

Their higher end cues are semi-custom made. Designs are fixed, but customer can specify joint. tip dia, shaft taper, weight, wrap, etc. I like mine and recommend

Can you explain the term "semi-custom made". I'm not familiar with that designation for cues. Thanks

He answered the question in your quote "Designs are fixed, but customer can specify joint. tip dia, shaft taper, weight, wrap, etc. I like mine and recommend"

Sounds pretty much like ordering from any of the major sites here in the US. You can get most of those specifications customized.

I have a carom cue from them that warped in the butt, nothing worse than a warped butt! When I contacted them about it they told me they only warantee against defects for 90 days. After some barking and several posts here on AZ they made good on the deal and that was that. Would I do business with them again absoultely NOT. All my billiard items will be bought within the USA that way if there are any issues they can be addressed without shipping items back overseas which is expensive & time consuming as well as frustrating. If you are in China perhaps the service from them would be better but they treated me like crap until several people intervened on my behalf....

One other thing I'd like to add was that I shipped the first one back to them for repair and after three months received it back just as warped as when I sent it. This was the catalyst for my displeasure along with their we do not care attitude.

Well last night I took the new carom cue out for the first time in a long while. My first thought was to roll it on the table and see if it had warped. I checked it together and apart and it has not. The shaft and butt are still straight. It has been in my posession for over a year and I am happy to say it has not warped like the first one did.
Just thought it only fair to post this...
