Kick it!!!

I never use a system other than feel and that came about as part of my 'kamb' training - (kick a million balls)

However, my highest recommendation for anyone not wanting to figure kicking out over many years would be little joe villalpando's system. I've watched him, listened to him and played him and aside from being a great player and instructor, his system works and is not particularly complicated.

he def get's the kickin' chicken vote.

best,

Systems are a good learning tool...but remember they're a 'rule of thumb'.
Some tables play different and you'll need to adjust....
...what hits a hook on a GC1 will miss short on a Diamond or a Kim Steel.

..and if you practice a particular kick a few times, the spot you're hitting
on the rubber will speed up and bank shorter.

Right after I had missed an easy 2-railer, a friend walked in and asked...
..:How's it goin'?"
I said "I can't kick."...my opponent cracked up..:)

Since you are in Missouri, you should seriously consider touching base with Joe Villalpando in Davenport, IA for personal lessons (pooliq.net). People have travelled much further to work with Joe. No joke, he has a guy that travels in from China once a year to work with him. Several others have flown him in (!) to work a week in their home. One of his students is on the current US juniors team headed for Germany.

Jimmy Reid's videos and online instructional materials are FILLED with kicking systems. Worth every penny or Google search...
