With all of his business stuff going on and the IPT events coming up, there isn't as much incentive for him to travel around the country and need to place in the top three of tournements just to pay expenses. His $$ games are a lot harder to come by after he became so well known.
He'll be back soon and I expect him to do well in the IPT.

Didnt they say on the 9ball-Texas Hold'em match that he was actually working on his weight and making a lot of progress .... THATS AWESOME KID-D ... we all have things we may not like about ourselves or want to change and its never easy or confortable... Keep your chin up KID and best of luck with everything.

I talked to him on Tue. He is playingin local blaze tournaments, exhibitions,lessons, and business deals which he told me ,cannot be released yet.. He plans on making alot of noise at IPT. He will be at Drexeline today ,to play some "cheap" 9 ball with locals. These are really leasons as race to nine for 50 a set, He is a great guy and a real shot in the arm for the sport we enjoy. He has a plan and time will tell.

Heavy or not Danny was the picture of grace as he moved around the table at the Joss in Portland, ME a couple of years ago. He was beautiful to watch, sort of like Gleason in "The Hustler," They both looked like ballet dancers when shooting pool (although Danny was more than a bit slow and drove Earl up a tree.)
