Gotta tell you. If I saw that two people had sent money to me through paypal, I would, then and there, immediately start the refund process to one of them.

Now if I don't see it before one had started a complaint, then you have something different. Then you need to get ahold of the person that filed and work it out quick. Either send a money order or whatever it takes. Call ebay/paypal and inform them it was a mistake and you are taking steps to correct it.

If you have time to transfer the money to your bank account, it seems just as easy to start a refund process. JMHO

Irish: I didn't pick up the $270 from Western union. The cue was shipped to Via in Singapore next day. I don't beleive via has anything to do with this. This will get settle when the claim is lifted and I will transfer funds to my account and to Monto. I have made this claim in front on 1000's of azer's. HE WILL GET HIS MONEY.. as soon as I can use my paypal account. SIMPLE FIX.
 
Just...my opinion. But things like this happen on rare occassion. That being said...it's still a mess. The way I see it...JForney has received money from one person in a completely normal fashion. Keep his money and send him the cue. As for the other guy...hang onto his money until the PayPal freeze is lifted...then he too shall get his money...and this is done with. I really think it's ridiculous that he won't lift the PayPal dispute to receive his money back. I guess he doesn't want it back all that badly. If I'm JForney...quite frankly...I don't care whether the guy lifts the dispute or not. *shrug* He's trying to set things right...and this guy won't let him. I dont' feel sorry for him even a little.

Instead of thanking me for not claiming the cue and damages.u r calling me mother***** scamster.

The two payment came about the same times. I was buying another cue, a mini lathe, corvette parts etc and I was using my paypal account via ebay. I didn't notice I had too much in my paypal account. I transfered the funds to my bank account and I thought I was spending money's from my credit card on paypal but it was money's that was from the other person that sent me money for the cue. So what I did was tranfer some and used all of the others money so now I don't have the funds in paypal. All I have to do is transfer funds back but can't because paypal has a hold on me. I don't Monto that I was transfering the funds back before he opened the claim. He opened the claim and it stopped the transfer.. Seems he did this for a reason.. I beleive he is a professional at this...

Paypal can't refund you what's not in his account. He already withdrew the funds, sir. That's the point here. He's trying to add money back to his PayPal account, so that he can PAY you. You're not helping yourself here. HE NEEDS YOU TO REMOVE THE DISPUTE, SO FUNDS CAN BE ADDED TO THE ACCOUNT, AND YOU CAN GET PAID. He can't add or remove funds currently. He's not trying to take your money. He already has it. All he wants to do is give it back.

Monto: I'd be in contact with WU to see if a recall is possible. If not, perhaps the money can be picked up and returned to you (less any fees). You've filed a paypal claim... If I am not mistaken even if they rule in your favor, you are only going to get the $780 from that transaction.

I think this was the beginning of a new Scam. I got a PM from somebody that said there had about the same thing happen to them.. I think this is why MONTo was paying with $780 in Paypal and $270 western union. So after he got the cue he could file a claim and get his $780 back. And only have to pay $270 for a cue... SCAM... All you can see the Monto P2 joined AZ in March 2008. He started posting on April 11, 2008 thats 5 days before the B/S with him.. You put 2+2 together it equals a Monto...

Scam or not...it's absolutely retarded to pay for an item like this...with two different methods of payment. This guy has no history...and is acting totally irrational. When he wants his money back...he'll lift the dispute. The way I see it J...you've already addressed everything in the best manner possible. The only loose end remaining, you can't tie down until he lifts the dispute.
 
i sold my eqipment a case for 300 dollors to an azer and a p2 cue and z2 shaft for 500usd to another azer. the balance in my accoun was 782 after charges.my card out of limit so cannot use card.i love the cue.so i send all 780 to him and ask him can i pay western union the rest of the amt.
Thats what i did.all i am asking is what i paid for.i have documentary proof for everything.if anyone wants to see i can show.

Agreed. J wants to refund the money, but cannot.

But if there is no money in the paypal account can't/won't they go to the verified account? Just asking as I have never had a claim filed on me.

Monto... I'm a reasonable enough guy. So...ok...fair enough. Sounds like a perfectly plausible explanation. That being said...he was kind enough to accept two forms of payment...you can be kind enough to accept it back the way it was sent. He never picked up the loot via Western Union...so you can go back to where you sent it...and have it recalled. Western Union will need to verify it hasn't already been signed for. Once that's done...you can get your money. As for the PayPal issue...lift the dispute. It's the only way you will EVER see that money again. I GUARANTEE IT. Make no mistake about it brother...you are NOT hurting JFORNEY with your actions. He's going to do business on here as usual...like he always has. The only person you're causing any real grief or agony, is yourself. But hey...if that's your thing...have at it.

Monto: You don't understand we all know this. I have said this mistake has happened.. No proof needed.. Like other here have said I can't transfer funds if there is a claim.. Please understand something you can't get the money from me until this happens. I want you to have your money back.. I am not trying to steal it from you. I already have it and dont want it.. Please lift the claim and I will get it back to you. I don't know what more I can do.

Ya know I had another azer PM me and ask about you because I wanted to buy a cue from him. I told him I didn't know what to think of you. You know why he asked me: Because he had sent me a case & two cue to look at for a trade. After I received them I didn't like the case & one cue. I retuned the stuff to him with $600 cash in the pocket of the case... He trusted me and I did him right.

Whatever way he wants to? He WANTS to send it via PayPal. Lift the dispute!!!!!! This isn't rocket science. Do you need to have a picture drawn for you?
