I’m not trying to be an ass, but is carrying that many cues necessary?
Absolutely not…..It is pure self indulgence or else you have so many amazing pol cues you can’t decide.

Under a grand for a King hard leather case with this capacity seems like a good deal. Personally, I require
even more capacity and so I had Gil Castillo build a 6x12 Ringtail Lizard cue case years ago. It is a great
cue case with big pockets and has been tossed in my car trunk countless times since it’s pushing 13 yrs.
old and has held up really well. Besides, I happen to think that choosing to play with different cues is fun.

Now keep in mind I am likely one of the few pool players that acquired their pool cues with a strict set of
requirements. I passed up buying cues because the shaft or butt was was too light or too heavy. Ergo, the
two were mismatched, IMO. I passed up buying piloted ivory joint cues because I play flat ivory joints. The
same is true if the ferrules weren’t ivory or the butt diameter was too thick. Every cue in my case uses the
same specs which took a long time but not that hard if you are patient and vigilant. So switching cues is easy.

A cue does not need beauty or sizzle to play like a Stradivarius. It just has to meet your preferences, presuming
the player actually has any or even bothered to take the time to find out what they like and why they like it. I did.

p.s. I removed 3 orig. shafts with different big pins and my case now contains 3 heavier weight Kielwood shafts.
Only one KW shaft shows in this photo but it was taken before Jim Pierce built me two 4 oz. flat faced KW shafts.

You could use it for a good workout tool before practice.
Seriously...how heavy is that thing?

Beautiful cues and case btw

Well, not that bad. The stuff you store in the pockets contribute to adding weight, like several different tip shapers,
collapsible bridge, extra TAOM chalk & pouches, talc powder, micro cloth, etc. & the cue weight. 5 pool cues weigh
18.5-6 ozs and 1 cue weighs 18.75 ozs. and the extra shafts weigh 4 ozs. As you can see, it is not as light as my
other cases, like Instroke 3x7, but the difference isn’t bothersome at all. And when you open it, the variety of cues
to choose frim just makes the issue of weight totally meaningless. It’s what’s inside that matters to me a lot more.
