Howdy Folks,
It is an honor to have Jim Rempe on this Board.Read the gambling stories posted by the `Dead Aim`` and signed as Joe.He is not Joe.He is Jim Rempe.I Quickly recognized from his photo and the stories.But I am not that Southner who hated the Yankees ,that he is refering to in Arkansas.Cheers

Hey Vagabond,

Was Jim Rempe in the Air Force? DeadAim was stationed in Arkansas and I thought it was around the time Jim Rempe was at his peak. I could be wrong.

It didn't take an Einstein either to figure you weren't. :D BTW, I have that same picture of Rempe hanging on my "wall of fame" where I have my table.
It's available at www.billiardartwork.com Whether it's Joe (Deadaim) or Rempe himself, there have been some SUPER posts coming out of Deadaim.
One way or another, this guy definitely knows his stuff better than anyone on here. I'm a fan....

Thanks, Drivermaker but I was thinking about another poster here. Keith McCready. I think he has more stories and knowledge than, MOST, others here. I can hardly wait for Keith and Jennie Ann to complete their book. I truly believe it will be the best book on pool to date. Jennie Ann writes extremely well and if Keith can remember just half of his exploits,,,,,,,,,well, I think you can imagine what a great read it is going to be.

rempe would have to be schizoid to reply to me in the manner he did. also,,,,i think a player of note would want to be known and NOT go by an aka. it's a way to draw attention and and lend veracity to any opinion he might share here at az.

I think he is taking lessons and/or playing with Jim Rempe, just as he says. Either way, you can tell he knows a lot about straight pool and he seems very happy to share his knowledge and even teach us a little. Dennis

I didn't say Keith, although that was definitely in the back of my mind, but Keith doesn't get too involved in the day in and day out stuff here on the main forum. In his section, I don't think he talks very much about shooting technique, strategies, or anything instructional. That's why. Now stories...that's another subject and if he gave them up here on the forum that would cut into the book. I'll be one of the first in line for the book. :D

You guys talk like the person you are talking about isn't going to read what you wrote. How would you feel if somebody said you were really somebody other than who you said you were? I swear, either somebody isn't thinking or their fingers work faster than their brain!

Well if it is Jim Rempe, maybe we can find a way to run him off as well. Thats funny, someone posts using Rempe's pic as an avatar and they say its King James. Mark Tadd comes here and everyone accuses him of being an imposter. All I know is that when Mark came here I sent a PM asking if he could give tips for practicing one pocket, he sent back 6 replies to get me all the info he could think of. You guys could have learned a lot from him but looks like he is gone because everyone wanted to attack him for the way he spelled, and called him a liar. I am sure we can get this guy to leave too!
