Where is Rempe these days? I noticed that he is listed as an IPT player, but he apparently has not competed in any IPT events (all stats are zero). Last time I saw him play (5+ years ago), he was still hitting them very well. I watched him practice for an hour of so at that time, and he struck me as a very methodical, disciplined player. He still seemed to be fairly fit as well, but the way he walked made me wonder if he was suffering from back problems. The IPT site says he should still be in his 50's, so I hope he's not having serious health issues or anything. Anyone have any recent info about this Hall of Famer?

Last time I saw him was the 2005 BCA Hall of Fame induction dinner in Vegas. He looked great! No clue if he ever hits balls though.

Health issues I think prevented him from competing in the two IPT events this past year.

there's a new good video of him on propoolvideo.com against jose parica. the miz's seniors tour 2001 i think. he played very well. he comes accross as a top bloke and i would love to see him competing again.

I'm glad to see this thread Jim Rempe is one of my favorite players of all time, and I too was wondering what he is doing with himself these days. Also, I was wondering if anyone had any good Jim Rempe stories from past tournaments, action, or anything else. I'd love to hear some.

i think he just beat karen corr in n.j. recently.

Havoc....If he did indeed beat karen it will be one of the few times they have played. i know that karen beat him twice in the finals in Conn. at a Joss tournament there. And then again at another Joss Tournament in Glens Falls NY a couple of weeks later she beat him again. I honestly don't think that King James game is up to par lately. i did over hear somebody say that he has been having back problems lately. So who knows. I wish him the best and hope he comes back to playing more........................mike
