Yes I know. Is Gary Sofizade on your team? For me, his name is synonomous with Corner Billiards.Jude Rosenstock said:Well, we made a lot of noise last year in the Mixed Open divison. Hopefully, we'll make more noise this year.

9 Ball Girl said:You guys are my Mud Honey. 'Nuff said.

Years ago, Mud Honey was the NY team comprised of Jennifer Barretta, Gina Lipsky, Heather Hatt, Lara Roscignol, Caroline Pao (I think) and there may be 1 or 2 more but the names are escaping me. Anyway, I'd always root for Mud Honey when they'd go to Vegas and they won the Women's master in I believe back in '01 or '02.
I've been around too long.
P.S. I do, however, like to talk dirty!![]()
I haven't seen or spoken to Gina and Brenda in 2 years. I love 'em (and Steve too!). Back then Sharon was on the WPBA and Supadra was just beginning to play, I remember seeing her practice a lot and I'm sure it's paying off. Caroline was waitressing at Corner and she had game and Maya is a new name to me. The only person on KOD that I recognized from back in my pool playing days was Young Mi.GG11 said:Ms. Gina Lipsky and Caroline won it again last year with Supadra B. Brenda Herras, Maya D. & Sharon Weis on NY Dolls!!! Let's hope we see a repeat from them again!!![]()

Maybe the finals will be KOD vs NYD. How cool would that be?
I won't be going to Vegas but I do remember those days of competing. I was just telling Jude that I frequently visit William Fuentes website and I saw the pictures last year from Vegas and I got a kick out of "Gail playing the lunch lady". That was just too funny 'cause many a times I'd play against a person, male or female, and I'd find myself wondering, "Who or what in the hell am I playing against???" Ah the memories.
Anyway, take names and kick some serious ass!

Supadra actually won the JP NEWT qualifier last month! Yep - the practice has been paying off. Hope us Kiss of Death girls do NY proud this year!
