Konllen and JFlowers....

Are they the same company/brand, just selling under a different name ?
They sell the same cues (carbon fiber) but with different names ? Or is one knocking off the other ?
Or is Konllen a "separate" brand to sell Jflowers on Amazon?

I've also noticed Cuppa brand selling the same carbon/decal cues (exact same just with their brand on the butt) . Are they selling factory seconds ?
But the price poi ts are the same, so same stuff with different branding ?

I bought a Konllen cue and the model number or sku number is "JFLO-12F." I'm almost certain that this is a J. Flowers cue. I have no idea what the relationship is, but I believe Konllen and J. Flowers are both selling cues. Hope this helps.

I saw review on the net where butt said Konllen and shaft said JFlowers. I also heard that Konllen is a cheaper knockoff, but who knows.

I've heard/read this as well, which is why I would like to know (interested in trying out this carbon fiber thingy)

I'd want to go the JFlowers route, but the Konllen brand has some designs that I'd prefer.
I also don't want to buy a Konllen and have it be a factory reject/rebrand JFlowers one (as all the digging I've done suggest the JFlowers is probably the best bang for your buck)

I have used pro taper LD shafts, for most part predator 314-2 & 314-3, Mezz WD700 & WX700, OB1. I don't want anything that will have worse LD properties than those shafts. So, for me the only way to go into carbon fiber would be predator 12.9 or 12.4 Revo, or perhaps Tiger Fortis LD 12.5mm. All the other CF shaft have worse LD, or extremely small tip with rising taper which I don't like.

However, those cheaper JFlowers cues are excellent value.

Anything you can compare the JFlowers to as far as to hit and feel?

I only took 2 shots with one. Sounded quiet, but the ball didn't move that great. The review I linked to, the guy knows what he is doing. His sounds strange, must be the microphone or something. The one I saw being used live, sounded better, but deflected a lot. The guy ended up using it as a breaker.

Resurrecting this.

Due to some tendonitis in my arm, I am looking for a new break cue that can do some of the work for me.
I can crack them well enough on a bar box but when I load up and go full speed for a 9' break, it really stings.
I'd like a CF shaft and phenolic tip with the new one.
I've tried the BKRush and the Jacoby CF and they both hit harder than my current breaker that I will continue to use for barbox pool.
I'm interested in the JFlowers line of break cues as well due to their price point.
Any higher level players in here using one and willing to share their opinion on the cue?
I have not seen one locally, so I'm going in blind with the purchase.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Has any member purchased one of the cue extensions from Konllen? Looking for reviews. PM please rather than derail the thread.

Based on all i've seen/heard they are the same company. Finding out exactly the who's/what's of Chinese cue companies is jumping down rabbit holes.

That’s my video. You would not believe how many people came out of the woodwork to comment on it and say K was a knockoff or factory reject of J. I traced it down to have something to do with our own JB. that explains why so many people were passionately saying it’s a knockoff. From what I could figure out reading between the lines, both are the exact same company, factory, etc. JB had some arrangement where the Jf name would be USA sales, and the K name would be international sales. And when the factory started selling on its own to the USA, people came out of the woodwork claiming knockoffs.

I did think the cue was nice at the time, minus the minor warp in the shaft. A couple years later I retired my 314’s and replaced with 12.4 revo.

A couple of my teammates have the konallen playing cues and one even has the break cue. I play with them occasionally and i can say they are good. The tips that come on them are junk (hard, dry and don't hold chalk).

I play with a revo 12.4 with an ultraskin med tip 95% of the time, I also have tried most of the other popular CF shafts recently. The Konallen/Jflowers CF shafts hit a lot softer than then my revo and most other CF shafts I have tried. Not saying that is bad, just different. I break just as well with the konallen break cue as my BK rush, i really don't notice a difference between them, that might only be that because its one shot and don't really use them back to back.

For the money you really can't beat them, esp for new players looking to buy decent equipment to start with.

I played with a Konllin cue several times, their CF shaft as well, have to say I am a fan. Build and hit felt solid based on my one sample size LOL

I bought a JFlower break cue with Carbon Fiber shaft for a friend, model JF-BK1. The cue is very powerful, easy to break. Would highly recommend them. My main player is a Mezz Kai break cue and the JF break as good as Mezz.
