I have a hard time believing that a coin can damage the cloth. I've seen three players playing air hockey on Simonis cloth with two cues and the bridge, and although there were marks on the cloth from the cue tips and the black bridge, there was no damage to the cloth; the cues and the bridge were another matter.

It was silver dollars that would do it.

I have a buddy that wont flip a coin onto the cloth and gives up the first break to anyone that wants to do so.

Yeah I agree. I've seen coins hit cloth thousands of times and never noticed anything. I make him lag if I match up with him.

I went home for my summer vacation. 6 weeks of not playing pool (though I did get on a snooker table 2 or 3 times with my dad, but that doesn't involve a lot of table time for me... I took one frame off him the whole vacation, and that was because he blasted the reds open early lol).

Got back to the Middle Kingdom on the weekend, back to work the last couple of days.
My jet-lagged brain won my first tourney here somehow, which I will likely write about when I have real work I should be avoiding Was at a place I don't play often, but was really pleasantly surprised by the standard and community at the hall.

Back to the thread title, I am curious where exactly Konrad throws his toys out the pram in the video. Someone timestamp it. Love a good strop.

Ever so slightly bad behavior when the match was already over and a handshake had been extended does not really show a bad attitude. I doubt this incident rates in the top 10,000 examples of bad attitude in 2025 in pro pool.

Personally, I found it much more objectionable when Carlo Biado, after pocketing the winning 9ball in the final at the World 9ball, jumped up on the table BEFORE shaking Fedor Gorst's hand.
