Kress Router

Dave Jacoby (Jacoby cues) used these for years to do all his inlay work he ran them non stop 5 days a week and was happy with them for years. yes they are well built much quieter then the cheaper routers with the 1050 you can switch to the 1/4" collect and cut points in a fore-arm with our v cutter bit.
This can be done with our new cnc quickly and accurately as well as inlays .
On a side note: Dave did upgrade to a higher dollar spindle down the road.but in talking with him and his son brandon they were very happy with the kress routers.

I have researched this myself. Lee is the cheepest show in town on these routers. I will agree with him that as long as you are spending that much on a Kress 800w router spindle you might as well get the Kress 1050w with a little extra power for the slight difference of about $20 us dollars. It is possible to get the router cheaper but this shipping will eat you alive. Add the collets and you are way above $350. My question is to those that already have one like Joei, how does this router comare to say a Porter Cable?

thanks, Jim.
According to DZ it's the most accurate he's ever tried.
