A few days ago I ordered an inexpensive cue (Players) from Seyberts.com. On the order page, they allowed you to specify the desired weight of the cue to the quarter of an ounce. I was impressed that they allowed that much precision for the weight. I ordered a cue and specified 18.5 ounces. When I got the cue, it weighed just under 18 ounces. It wasn't worth it to me to go to the trouble of sending it back, but I did write them an email telling them about the disparity in weight between the weight I ordered and the actual weight of the cue. I told them in the email that I didn't want to return the cue but was just giving them a "heads up" so that they might be more careful in the future. A couple of days later I got an email from them thanking me for the feedback and offering to send me a weight bolt, free of charge, to bring the cue up to the weight I wanted. I took them up on the offer and within a couple of days got the weight bolt in the mail.

I just wanted to give them a plug for their customer service. I have bought lots of stuff from them through the years and this was the first time I had a problem. Sure enough, they made it right.

They are a great operation. I really like Seyberts. Everything either goes perfectly (and I am one picky bastard when it comes to pool stuff), or else they fix it so it is perfect.

Glad you had a great experience too!

I will certainly second or third that. Buy all my pool needs through them and have had great customer service and really fast order times.

IMO, Had Syberts got the order correct the first time, this thread wouldn't be here, but I do agree, 'Follow Up Customer Service' is very important.

Correcting an error is important for any business, but getting it correct the first time shouldn't be over looked either.

Syberts is still a great choice for your pool goods.

BTW, I've never had any issues wth Syberts. I place an order and it arrives in the next few days.

Seyberts is great. I've ordered a lot of stuff from them over the years and on the very few occasions - maybe one? - that something has gone wrong they've gone out of their way to right it. A total pleasure to deal with and honest as the day is long.
