A few days ago I ordered an inexpensive cue (Players) from Seyberts.com. On the order page, they allowed you to specify the desired weight of the cue to the quarter of an ounce. I was impressed that they allowed that much precision for the weight. I ordered a cue and specified 18.5 ounces. When I got the cue, it weighed just under 18 ounces. It wasn't worth it to me to go to the trouble of sending it back, but I did write them an email telling them about the disparity in weight between the weight I ordered and the actual weight of the cue. I told them in the email that I didn't want to return the cue but was just giving them a "heads up" so that they might be more careful in the future. A couple of days later I got an email from them thanking me for the feedback and offering to send me a weight bolt, free of charge, to bring the cue up to the weight I wanted. I took them up on the offer and within a couple of days got the weight bolt in the mail.
I just wanted to give them a plug for their customer service. I have bought lots of stuff from them through the years and this was the first time I had a problem. Sure enough, they made it right.
