Lack of TAR Coverage?

Short answer is there is no pool media in this country. If we write a press release Mike will post it but there was some issue in the past with either making the announcement on the forums or the front page via press release. Our demographic is in the forums so thats where we place our efforts. Mike and Jerry do their best and support TAR a great deal but I dont expect them to be on top of what we are doing and write about it.
I can not say the same for the magazines. Billiards Digest has done a couple stories over the years but for the most part no one is going to go out of their way to actually cover anything. Most places will post something if you send it to them but honestly in my experience it doesnt change much one way or the other so I focus on facebook and the forums here.
The only guys I have seen that make an effort to cover things they do not have a direct financial interest in is Jerry T and NYC Grind., Anito Kid (sp) does some good things too along with Big Dave at Pro9UK forums.
I long ago gave up worrying about why no one covers what we do when I figured out no really covers anything anyone does unless they are being paid or someone does all the work for them. I am probably as much to blame as anyone since I don't play the game.

That was a press release I sent out. Sometimes I do them most times I dont. Honestly it kind of pisses me off to do them. I know thats dumb but hey sometimes I just gotta be me.
