I've been trying to get women interested in playing in events with the men and its tough. I think having a womens team enter the all A and a pro team event would be amazing to see and would get a great reaction from everyone but, the women don't seem to have an interest. Ladies help me out, what can I do to peak your interest and play against these men? Reduced entry is offered already..............what else?

Which events are you talking about? The number of female A players in the US is staggeringly low. For a team of 5 you would probably have to be big enough to attract out of state players no matter what state you are in, and even then it'd be tough action.

i'd love to see more women playing pool. call me weird but i think it's hot when women play the game well

There are plenty of open regional tours all over the country that the top US women could play in if they chose to. It seems they do not. Like the poster above said, and I agree. I don't believe there are more than a dozen (if that) women "A" players in the US. Johnnyt

In days long gone

I loved any chance I had to mix it up with the men!! How much fun would it be to knock out a mens team.........that's how I looked at it and we did at times. I guess the old days of playing even and going after the better players for the grind of it really are days of ole!

They won the BCA Open event not the Masters event.

If the KOD team took the Masters event then they would be considered in the A level.

When talking about players speed usually as follows: Pro, Pro Am/Short Stop, A, B, C

Depending on whom you rate as players that are "A" level, i was brought up to believe that "A" level players are grouped with the Pro Am/Short Stop just short of Pro caliber players.

What about the KOD Squad from NYC???

isn't the masters event only barbox. not to take anything away from anyone but barbox tables exagerate people's firepower a lot.
