This cue looks great and almost plays by it's self. I have played with all the major cues made over my 58 years of playing and this cue is the one I will play with for the rest of my years of playing. His workmanship is among the best I have ever seen. I asked Larry for a good looking cue to play with, nothing real fancy to help him get Vigus Cues out to the public. I've played with 60" cues in the past and none had the feel I was looking for, but this cue is solid and the hit and feel is more than any cues I have played with in the past.

OB Shafts:
The new OB Plus shafts play great! I ordered 2/OB-2 Plus & 2/Pro Plus. I like the OB-2 Plus for the softer hit on Diamond 7ft. tables because of better speed control and the Pro Plus for Valley tables with the heavy cue balls and larger tables because or the firrmer hit.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Larry's cue. It is a beautiful cue, congrats!

I have been interested in Larry's cues for some time, Larry seems to specialize in 60" cues, which is part of the reason that interests me (used to play with normal 58" cues, but switched to play with a 60" cue now). Hopefully I will have the chance to try/own Larry's cues in the future.

what i don't understand is that people buy a custom cue and then put an aftermarket LD shaft on it !!!
If you buy a Vigus then play with his shafts , if you want to play with an OB shaft then buy a full OB cue .

Very nice cue by the way .

Not taking anything away from Larry's shafts but that's not his speciality of producing low deflection shafts. I guess it's like taking a quadra-jet off a Chevy and putting a dual pumper Holly on it, just improves the performance. Also I played on the OB team for years and have played with their shaft since inception.

Beautiful cue! I have a Vigus also. I had him match a predator partial shaft to his butt. If I was a better player, it would be able to run 5 packs;)

You should do yourself a favor and ask him to make you a shaft with his break taper. I think you will change your mind about the OB shafts. Larry's cues are excellent players and one of the best kept secrets(or used to be) out there.

Thanks! Not to hard to figure out. Charlie likes the way OB shafts play. Since we are so close to OB. There are lots of them around here. It's not practical for OB to make a one off butt. Charlie wanted something unique. Not something everyone else had.

These were my first OB shafts to convert. I have heard horror stories about other LD shafts. After doing these, I won't hesitated to do more OBs.
