Las Vegas Cue Club

I'm going to be in Vegas for several days starting on Sat., and plan to get to the Cue Club. It simply isn't practical to take a cue with me, and as I recall from prior visits the house cues are typically crappy. I don't suppose they have better cues squirreled away somewhere? Thanks.

That was my home away from home when I lived there and no they don't have anything other than what's on the wall...

Thanks; that's what I figured. I wish more rooms would have decent cues available for rent the way ABC in New York does.

Laurie has a few. :)

While in Vegas try Pink EEZ (Spelling). It is across from the Rio. All the tables are pink, and free table time. You can rent a cue for a dollar or so. Sometimes there is a small cover charge.

Thanks. I was there 3 or 4 years ago, but heard that it had since closed.

Pinky's is long gone.

it was terrible, i was in there about a week after it opened, I went in 6-8 times over a one year period and it got worse and worse, they pumped alot of $$$$ into it but it was doomed from the start, The land its on is worth alot so if they closed the shop and kept the land they might come out ok 10 years later, it opened in 93.

I understand it is now a strip club.

Here are a couple of ideas:
1-You could mail your cue to yourself at your Hotel and then mail it back before you leave.
2-You could stop by one of the many Pawn shops and buy a cue. Then sell it to someone at the pool hall when your done.
3-I also know of 2 different ebay sellers that are located in Vegas. They both sell pretty decent inexpensive cues. You could buy one and then do a local pickup. Tell them you want it in the box and ready to ship. You can then mail it home when your done playing. PM me if you need there contact info.

Shark Club - West Vegas

I think it is still called the Shark Club, West side of town, out on Decatur near Spring Mt road. Try it.

Pool Sharks
Used to be owned by Hall of Famer Machine Gun Lou Butera..... great place. I like the pit with the rail too.

Thanks for the suggestions. I may try the pawn shop route. I did play at Pool Sharks several years ago, but as I recall the tables were in lousy shape. (Or maybe they steered me to a bangers' table since I didn't have a cue with me. Took me awhile to learn about that.)
