Latest cue from Full Splice Billiards

Hello Az, here is a cue I just finished for local customer. The cue is a conversion from a Cocobolo Brunswick Balk Collender 1920's One Piece cue. The cue is really kinda cool, half of the cue is heart wood and half of the cue is branch wood. In the cues butt I used some real nice Birdseye Maple with ring work.

one of my buddies bought that in 2005, was one of my first cues
he's currently in iraq
i dont even know if he still has it


Man these old cues really make some great conversions, it is a shame that you can't purchase Blanks made from a combination like these today. I think it really adds character to the over all look of the finished cue, and it certainly makes them very unique.

Thanks for sharing the photo's, and I think the guy would have been a fool to have sold the cue made for him, I don't think many understand how unique and truly 1 of 1 these cues are,

in this case, it's 1 of 2 , so far :grin:
that kid usually comes back home around christmas,
and usually calls me to let me know he's in town
i'll see if he still has it
knowing him like i do though, he probably traded it for a bag of pot or lost it gambling :eek:

Full Splice

I'm a big fan of these full spliced conversions.
What a unique cue, heart wood & branch wood.
I have no idea how you can identify these woods.
Great idea for a conversion, and it looks like someone is getting a nice cue to play with.

Its amazing what different woods look like in a cue.
