Hi Guys,

I've been working on formulating these CM98 premium layered tips for a while now...after extensive testing I have developed two specific kind of tips (Type A - Soft and Type B - Hard). Our goal is to provide the best performing layered tips on the market that can be customized and fine tuned to your unique style of play.

Both Type A and B are custom made with specific Newton meter (NM) pressure setting. These premium layered tips are custom made in Japan. The type A and B are both 9 layers but the way in which they are tanned and processed are different to provide players with unique playability characteristic. The A has thicker layer pigskin and allow for further tip compression from the players to define their unique hit setting through hours of plays. These may mushroom slightly as you define your hit but once they are stabilized..they will be harder to mushroom and will provide years of playability and performance.

Type B tips are process so that each pig skin layer are thinner and will be harder to mushroom and is super low maintenance. These thinner tips are super consistent in performance and are designed to be less maintenance. Put them on once and you will not have to touch these tips for another year other than add chalk to them. These are to me the best playing tips on the market and the CM98-30NM (Old Molavia Hard) is what I've been using for the last 5 plus years now. The tip I have on my Weinstock hasn't been changed for the last 3 years.

Hey Duc, Send me a PM on pricing for about 3 each of group A, shipped to California, 92807. No problem with a little mushroom at first. The main thing for me is the tip must have resilience AND hold chalk well. Thanks,

Martin

Hi Martin,
PM Sent. These tips will hold chalk really well.. I have installed hundreds of tips and my recommendation to my users is that once it's installed and shaped to the player's prefer curvature that they don't sand or rough it up with a pick...just put a thick layer of chalk on it for the first 20 plus shots and you won't have to ever touch it again. I've been playing with the same Molavia hard which is now (CM98 B-H 30 NM) for over 3 years now.

Regards,
Duc.

I've still got some molavia I bought from you . Are these the same thing??? what's the price ??? Do you get any full splice butts anymore ??? thanx

Hi Eric,

Sorry for the late reply....These new tips are processed differently with different NM setting. The type B 30NM is equivalent to the Molavia Hard and it's the only one that I kept because it was perfect.

In regards to the full splice, I don't think we will be doing anything with them soon. At the moment, every last one is sold.

Regards,
Duc.
