Silvio, All the parts used to build this lathe were purchased many years ago from Taig Tools. He was not sure where the bed was purchased from. This lathe is over 10 years old and has seen very little use. Also shipping to you is not a problem but will be costly
Is this a Hightower headstock?

Thanks
Silvio

Looks like an Anthony Gotti to me.

I am pretty sure the bed is not Anthony Gotti, he Never had any hard anodize dovetails.
70" beds with hard anodize are only available through Chris Hightower or myself, and that's not mine, besides if this lathe is 10 years old, then it defiantly can not be a Gotti lathe. I can't speak for the headstock and steady rests. I guess only Chris can really verify if this is one of his lathes that was bought over time and assembled by the guy who bought it.
Regards

The Bed and headstock look to be mine as well as the tool post and one of the two steady rests, if the large bearing steady rest is mine this lathe is a good bit more than 10 years old. Maybe the original tailstock also. But everything looks super clean and rust free. The motor and motor pulley are not mine. The carriage is not mine. You notice the steady rests and tailstock have wing knobs up high instead of giving bed lock downs. This makes me wonder if someone had a small bore headstock lathe and upgraded it without doing it all properly.

I want to thank Jimmy for a great sale.
The communication was perfect thru out the entire transaction.

The lathe was well packaged and arrived with about 1000 dollars worth of packing peanuts in the box. Hell of a mess in the kitchen.

No damages and the lathe came exactly as described. Someone took care of the equipment while using it.
If I didn't know the difference, I would say that most of the components are brand new so that is a huge bonus.

A few minor tweaks that I had planned for it anyway and it is going to make a great addition to the shop.

I would do repeat business with Jimmy any day.

Thanks again.

BTW. Sheila just got home and said thanks for the peanuts. Sat is vacuum day.
