Layani Cues..?

i dont know about the craftmanship.. it did seem to be a well made cue and i really didnt look at it all that long.. but i got a chance to hit some balls with one, and the way the joint is made gives it a really nice hit (which i know is different for everybody) it felt like a cue that i could just pick up and play with and be comfortable with... if you ever get a chance, make sure you get a chance to play with one..

I sell them. I have one nice one in stock. They are a well put together cue. Craftsmenship top notch. I feel they have a stiff hit with good feedback feel thru the butt of the cue.
 
Great cue for the money. They have a nice solid feel. The cue plays on a stiff side and is not very forgiving. The english really takes and if you don't have a good stroke you will miss a lot of straight in shots.
 
I've hit about half a dozen different Layani's. Nice cues. Great Hit. Very innovative joint design...I think he does have a better mouse trap.

My ONLY drawback to it would be basically only Layani could fit another shaft for your cue. Other than that great workmanship and good value.

I don't agree with that - I think my Layani's (I have 4 of them - plus I even have the infamous Tucker/Layani collaberation cue... ) have a very soft and controlled hit compared to some others I've hit with. They all have medium Moori's on them. Visitors seem to be able to just pick one up out of the rack and shoot lights out with it immediately.

I've tried everything under the sun but my playing cue is still a Layani and you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands...
 
Not only does Thierry Layani make a great cue but he also gives back to the sport in sponsorship. He is an all-around good guy who puts a lot of work into each cue. I have never heard a negative word about either the man or his product.

Besides Thierry, there's also a master-cuemaker by the name of Alain Gendron who puts a lot of work into every Layani cue...
