I'm looking to get an understanding of the range of practices as far as league operation and costs to players. Please respond about any league you're confident you know the answers about. Leave blank if you don't know a particular answer.
Questions
(1) What is the name of the league, the city/state, and is it affiliated with any national or regional organization
(2) Is the league in-house or does it have multiple locations?
(3) Is the league played on Diamond 7' or Valley 7' or 9' or 8' tables (or other)?
(4) Are the tables coin-operated? If so, how much per game?
(5) Aside from coins in the table, what is the total amount a player pays each week?
(6) For non-coin-operated tables describe how long the table is available to the team
(7) How many players are on a team?
(8) How many games does each player play each night (if match play, describe a match) ?
(9) How many tables are used for a typical team matchup?
(10) How many teams are in the league you're describing?
(11) How much, if any, of the nightly fee goes to end-of-session cash payout?
(12) What other benefits, if any, do you get as a player? (shirt, free drink, trophy, banquet, etc).
(13) Please add any comments or information you think I should have asked and didn't.
It would be easiest if you respond like below:
(1) Ralph's pool league, Toledo, OH
(2) in house
(3) Valley 7'
(4)
...etc.
Thanks in advance
