Leather carving designs

Do any members have any links to leather carving designs? I want to look over different patterns for a new cue case I am considering... Any help is really appreciated!

Good question. I wonder are the options in design almost limitless as long as the carver has the skills ?

Seems like most of what is out there follows a cowboy, sheridan theme.

Hey Spktur, Thanks for the link. Honestly I thought there would be a website dedicated to the designs themselves. I know of an English saddle maker that works in a shop near Barrington Il maybe I'll stop by and see what he can tell me. He's done some repairs to my case in the past and used to make leather over wood snooker cases back in Great Britan.

Don't know how elaborate a case you want, but if you are just looking for a single cue, half joint, it seems to me that any pattern used for a belt would be adaptable.

Google Tattoo designs. Within reason, there is no reason that a leather artist can't reproduce almost anything onto a piece of leather.

Look at some of JB's designs. Pretty ornate with lots of color.

You can develop a pattern from just about any source, this was from a wildlife magazine cover photo.
