Does anyone have a good idea what this is?

I'm thinking it's having the back of the cue raised a bit allowing for a smoother elbow drop follow through.

He appears to be keeping that cue very level to me, so I don't know what you're referring to when you say up and down stroke. I just know that I wish I had his mechanics / stroke !

Me too.

I am trying to book a lesson with him for next month. I thought it was something he said for maybe rail shots and hoped someone might have a better idea what it was...
