i do prefere taking pool lessons from the number one ranked player in the world mike allison fisher she is a whole lot better player to take lessons from she charges a $1900 for lessons but me taking lessons from earl no way mike

thanks
Travis, that is a great insight. Why take lessons from Earl when you can go to Allison for only 25 times the price!

Along the same line of "logic" why would anyone buy a cuetec when they can buy a Southwest for only 15 times the price?

Seriously though, if I were in the States I would take Earl up on this offer. I'm very jealous of anyone who gets a chance to do this!

agreed! hopefully i can holiday there some time and get some tips from the great man. although it's a by-effect of the fact that pool is such a small sport, it's nice that you can just call up one of the best players in the world and take some lessons and spend time with him.

I can't imagine being able to call up a top footballer or top tennis player lol.

I would hope for that price, you get 1 on 1 for about a full week???? There are lot of great teachers out there Shan Shuffett, Scott Lee and others who don't get anywhere near this amount of cash. What level BCA certification is Allison?

Have Earl teach you the proper way of applying chalk to your ferrule...............Just kidding, Mike. That's just about the only thing Earl does wrong on a pool table and even so he hardly ever miscues. Lot of knowledge you can squeeze out of that brain.
I've watched Earl play for years in person whenever I could and on Accu-stats (I have quite a collection of his matches on tape) and i've only seen him mis cue one time and it was during a match at the US Open on the TV table playing Rodney Morris on the Break Shot!!! Other than that i've never seen him mis cue and with his extra long stroke that means his delivery to the cue ball has to be straight all of the time. You have to have excellent mechanics to not mis cue sometime.

Buddy Hall commented one time while doing commentary on Accu-stats that he's never seen Earl mis cue and that's saying something since Buddy has been around Earl most of his career.

I've emailed you Mike. and you haven't reply at all. if you check here, pls let me know if you have different email.
