Planning on being in New York City this summer for a vacation. Just wondering if there are any pros that give lessons in the area. Or any pool halls I should check out?
Jonathan Smith @ Society Billiards, particularly good for strategy given his extensive 14.1 knowledge.
Hunter Lombardo @ Amsterdam, for fundamentals and troubleshooting.
Tony Robles @ Amsterdam.
Jennifer Barretta @ Skyline Billiards.

I would go with Barretta. I watched her give a lesson and she said something that helped my game immensely. I was going through a period where I struggled with the 8 ball in eight ball and 9 ball in nine ball. She said to try and play position with the cue ball to the head rail. I was losing focus when I got to the last ball and this helped my focus again. Huge difference for me and would recommend her for that reason alone.
