Well if it's not a Harry, maybe it's a Bob. The only Bob's who did booklets I can think of are Cannefax and Jewett. (Although Bob Byrne did a booklet about diamond systems before his book on pool and billiards, it doesn't appear in the lists you mention.)

The Last Clue #8 would of been ... What does the author/player have in common with

1. slow cloth
2. Wooden leg
3. a pen knife
