Let me know your thoughts on a raffle for a GCIII.

I have been asked to sell a table for a friend that has some still setup in his old poolhall. They are GCIII and in good shape( I would post some pics of the actual table if it happened). The raffle would be $80 a ticket to have the table dismantled palletized and shipped(possibly to your house) to freight terminal near your location and you would have to pick it up from there. If the winning ticket holder wanted to pickup the table themselves that could be arranged also. Let me know if you would be interested.

would anyone be interested if the ticket Price was $65 a ticket and the table was delivered to your house? You would have to get it setup with new cloth.

Sure is quiet around here on the weekends. I would but a ticket. I assume with your price tag you are thinking of using the powerball number. We did some IP auctions with 100 numbers on the high dollar items. Using the last two digits of the play three. $32 a ticket sound much more appealing. I would but a few as would others I'm sure. Just my opinion, good luck to you and your friend.

If people wanted to do more numbers for a smaller pricetag on the tickets I would be fine with that. Thanks for the ideas.

yes I have and haven't decided if I'm going to do it just want to see if anyone is interested in this raffle. Are you located in Cal and would you buy a ticket at that price? I did something like this on a automotive website and what they do there is add a flat rate for shipping. The way people are on here I'm not sure they would go for it.

How it could work is you could buy a ticket for $65 then if you live in New England it would be delivered for free. Then the farther out the more you would pay for shipping but the price of you ticket would be refunded. So if you buy a ticket, win and your located in Cal you would pay say $500 for shipping minus your ticket price. The shipping rates would be publish prior to paying for tickets and they would be based on regions and maybe you may have to pick it up froma freight terminal.

Just some ideas to try and move some tables let me know what you think.

with all the fun stuff going on about raffles aound here, it might be hard to get intrest without some serious regulation. if it were run right i'd prob be interested

Hey Bora - I would be interested in a raffle option on the tables. I can't remember what they were selling for, but seems to make sense to have a limited number of entrants as suggested above at xx amount. It would most definitely to worth it.

112 views and no and No one has any input?

You may get a better response putting the table(s) on Craigs List, an ad in the paper or eBay.
