Let me show u how to play 14.1

Thought you guys might enjoy it;)

I'm looking at this quickly from work, so might have missed something. In all honesty (and I know you're kidding), it's probably the wrong shot, but not by much. If you can't guarantee a rail by playing safe into the 10-3 combination and freezing on the pack (looks close), you really don't have much here. There might be an awkward safe off the 7, but from here I can't tell if the angle is too severe to send the cueball comfortably back to the bottom rail.

If neither of those safes is on, then, well, your shot is still probably wrong (haha) but again, maybe not by much. The presence of the striped ball down by the 5, thus guaranteeing a second shot if you make the kick, is definitely pushing some equity in its favor.

If the 5 were completely hanging in the pocket (rather than where it actually was), and you know the table very well, this might be the right shot for sure.

Actually an interesting situation. Thanks for sharing Joe! Hope all is well.

P.S. If I'm typing anything you mentioned in the audio, sorry... didn't have my headphones today. :)

I was just having a little fun keeping the run alive in an opportune (is that right) moment, you'll hear why later Steve, now get back to work and stop solving the 14.1 problems of the world, people need food too ya know!
Pleasure as always,

Ballsy!

That two rail kick was pretty ballsy, even in practice. Nice shot on the back slice to the corner though. Enjoyed the vid. Good Shooting.

That back slice on the break shot just looks impossible to me. Nice shot!

I can see where ya coming from, looks impossible on video to me too. Camera angle makes it look a bit worse than it is but it was kinda severe.

That was one of those "Ortmannesque" shots. now that is what i call a cutshot to keep a run alive !!!!!

and then there was the kick...sometimes you just have to jump through hoops to keep it going !!

Nice Post Joe !
