lets see some great wood .... you like or have at hand

I should have done some homework. I did not know you made cues yourself. I am a big fan of beautiful wood and may be in touch with you in the future. A cue made from something like that burl in the fourth picture in your initial post would be breathtaking.

My apologies for posting non pool related pics but these have some pretty nice wood albeit plain compared to what you create.

Here's some claro walnut in the form of a 22. Damn thing shoots lights out too :D.

Cheers,
RG

What's odd is I have not seen claro walnut or French walnut used in cues but these are the most popular classic custom gunstock woods. Seems to me these would be perfect woods for cues too. I have always loved the fiddleback European walnut grain.

The wood is very light and needs to be cored before using. It does have an alluring beauty. Here is a duck call from our shop using curly Claro Walnut.

PiercyExclusive Makes The Best Cues I Have Ever Hit With

I own 10 of Marshall's cues and, not only are they beautiful, they are great hitting cues. A local pro player hit with one and said it was the best hitting cue he ever picked up, and he said he's played with the best cues on the market.

At the Super Billiards Expo last year in PA the President of the ACA said Marshall was the most creative and imaginative cue maker he'd ever seen, and this ACA Prez has a cue of his own in the Smithsonian.

You can't miss with this guy and he'll make you a cue you will keep forever and never let anyone else touch. When my wife goes to pick up one of my PiercyExclusive cues I tell her, "Not that one, dude."

qbilder: AWESOME! FANTASTIC! AMAZING!

Piercyexclusive: Hilarious! :D :grin-devilish:

Most others: Pathetic

TATE: Geez, I'm glad YOU'RE HERE
