Prefer the elephant ear on players and this will be a player for sure after a short visit to SuperD (right after VF).

At times the chase is almost as fun as the find and acquisition.
But the best part is playing with the half joint cues -

these are all GREAT!....i cant wait for mine.....it will be a nice twist on a classic design that's never been seen before.....
also regarding the posts about the way Dennis "works" his list well all i can say is it would be a good bet that i've been waiting as long or longer than anyone on the list and i have no problem with it because there are circumstances that were even beyond his control as to why my order wasn't filled.....i asked Dennis if he would make a cue for me back in early 96 and i was told it would take a while.....i was very busy at that time and let some years pass so later in early 2003 i contacted him to talk about it.....he said he was glad i called and remembered my order when i jogged his memory, which by the way seemed uncanny for all the details he remembered about our conversation, and explained that he had issues with a flood and lost many of his customers orders from previous years and just had to wait till those who's orders he lost contacted him to inquire about their order, which by the way has probably happened more than you think and no doubt plays a big role in how his list has been executed over the past 9 or 10 years.....he said that since i had been waiting all that time he would be glad to put me on that years list as long as the design i wanted could be executed to HIS standards. nothing short of what i would expect from any top maker....i told him i would work up a design and when it was ready he could decide when it could be executed.....well being involved in cue making myself, time slipped on by and even though i had many conversations with Dennis, very few being about my order and more about cue making in general.....he did say that when i had my design the way i wanted it to send it to him and we would work from there....i spoke to him last year and finally gave him the design i was looking for and he slated it's production for this year.....i have no doubt Dennis will build this cue to his standards in his time and it's the only way i would want it.....i believe if he feels he can't build the cue to his standards and do the design justice it wont be built until it can and i would completely agree with him...
skins ------------ doesn't mind waiting for perfection....did so with his wife.....(shameless early Valentines Day plug....

I am extremely fortunate,no lets say blessed I own two of Dennis Searing cues,I will take some pictures soon.Show me a cue that plays and looks as good as a searing,I'll buy it instantly,pack a long lunch trying to find one,Warren Lee
