***Let's see your Jeff Olney cues***

Just got some pictures from Jeff on my Olney after starting the finish process. It should ship on Wednesday.

Have to see he used one of the prettiest pieces of Bacote I have ever seen. He said he has had this piece for over 20 years.

Super excited to get it.

CONGRATS...
Jeff builds really nice cues,
I have a widow cue
PHENOMEMAL PLAYER!!!

Johnnysd, that cue is going to be a real nice player. Congrats. I got your PM, so glad you like the cue. As you probably can guess, I'm not surprised. Have fun with it!

Hey guys, anyone has any idea if Jeff still takes order?

I am looking to make a couple of extra shafts with matching rings.

Nice to see...

...this thread back. Great looking cues Gents. Thank you for sharing your pics.

I still say Olney cues are the 'best bang for the buck' for a custom cue.

Superb quality, playability, very reasonable price and a really great guy to deal with.

I enjoy seeing his work - keep 'em coming boys.

best,
brian kc

I actually thought my Olney would just sort of be a nice to have part of my cue collection that I purchased spur of the moment. It has become my daily player.,

Here’s mine, cherry stained Bacote, four points with single black veneer. Probably the best hitting cue I’ve had since I started playing again. Hard to describe the quality of the hit, but everyone that even picks it up comments on how good it feels.

Very cool. A lot of us feel the same way. Thanks for posting.

Just got this one, it's a few years old but brand spanking new and it's a rare one in that Jeff hasn't made very many ebony front cues. Also, rather unusual for him are the 3 veneers - this cue was a special order. The orig owner had an affinity for purple, hence the purpleheart and the purple and pale violet veneers.

I bought it for 2 reasons:

I'm a huge fan of Jeff's cues and I really wanted an ebony nosed cue that would look nice with the Revo shaft I recently got that I've already determined I'm never gonna use. :yeah: :rotflmao:

This one hits magnificently with the good old dependable maple shaft.

I think I would have chosen a different color linen for this cue, either plain black or a black/white - minor detail. ;)

best,
brian kc
