Lifting points on titlist, easy repair?

Just curious, but.....

If somebody were selling such an old cue (or considering buying it)...could it not be difficult to tell if the points were re-glued down? I mean, assuming it were done neatly?

I am not suggesting fraudulence but these cues have been around a long time, an old repair might be there and one might not even know.:confused:

To tell if a prior repair was done on the points an electronic glue detection device could be used. It will tell you the approximate age and type of glue used.

Really? Are you yanking our chains here? I know there are industrial devices that can detect glue on paper, but glue age and type? I'm all ears if this is so.

He has one...but he won't share it. :(

The same device can also take a rectal temperature from across the room and tell us what you had for breakfast last Tuesday.
