Many new players seem to get frustrated trying to learn the game of pool. I have seen it time and time again, where somebody thinks this game is impossible and just throws their hands in the air and gives up.
Just like any sport, a huge shortcut is to look up a local instructor and take a few lessons. Sure, ya might spend $100 dollars or so. But compared to the countless hours a person will spend trying to learn on their own or paying the table time, it will save you tons of money in the long run. Also, you won't learn bad habits which are hard to break down the road.
Most people on this site know how to play already. But, if ya know somebody who wants to learn, definitely point them toward an instructor. JMHO:smile:
