Link to 3 piece custom travel cue thread

I'm flying domestically on Sunday and I will be bringing this inside my carry-on. They are parts of junk housecues/cues I cut a few years ago to keep some spare cue wood around. It does not matter if they get taken. Total length is 51", which is the longest I could assemble with the parts I had. I'll update the thread with what happens.

Missing a few pins...

This is just a test to see what TSA does.

For the real one, I was actually thinking of having the pin between each section remove completely, and carried separately in a pouch. This would make the pieces shorter overall, and maybe make it look less of something dangerous to TSA.

At some point, they may take them, thinking you are bringing nunchaku (nunchucks).

Success! The 4 sawn pieces of junk sticks made it through. No questions or anything. They were in my schoolbag. I’m flying again in one week and will bring them again. If good, I’ll be making one.

I think I will do 4 pieces so it’s more compact. I was thinking a phenolic joint screw up front. I have to find all my cue repair stuff it’s been 12 years since I turned my cue lathe on.
